NDTV Profit is the only Indian Business Channel to be brodcated outside the Bombay Stock Exchange, in Mumbai, India. NDTV has launched its first channel outside India in partnership with Astro, a leading South East Asia media group. “Astro Awani”, launched in Indonesia, is a 24 hour news, infotainment and lifestyle channel.

In August 2007, NDTV announced the launch of its first lifestyle television channel NDTV GOOD TIMES in alliance with UB Group. The channel features ACTVE Cooking, a round the clock cooking recipes and demonstrations along with tips and trivia on television exclusive for TATA Sky customers.

In September 2007, NDTV announced the launch NDTV Arabia, a 24-hour news and infotainment channel that will mark its entry into the Middle East and North Africa region. Also the same month, NDTV launched NDTV MetroNation, India’s first English city channel.

In January 2008, NDTV launched NDTV Imagine, it’s first general entertaintement channel. The company is working on the launch of an International movie channel NDTV Lumiere under NDTV Imagine Ltd.

Recently broadcaster NDTV and Genpact launched a 50:50 joint venture, NGEN Media Services, to offer media outsourcing services to enterprises worldwide in areas such as editing, digitisation and closed captioning. NGEN leverages the offshoring experience and global delivery capabilities of Genpact with NDTV’s domain knowledge and world class media skill sets.
